First time downloading mods
NPC mods will depend a LOT on your personal taste, but some of my favorites are: Angelo, Isra (& Isra for BG2), Adrian, Kelsey, Xan, Ninde. This is a very subjective list, but I feel these are all well-made mods that fit reasonably well with the game. Note that if you install more than 1 NPC mod, you'll want to install this crossmod pack so that the mod characters will actually talk with one another.

Alternatives - Alternatives offers two new possibilities to consider when making the decision about whether to side with the Shadow Thieves or with Valen's Mistress.
