NewWorldUnpacker VS datasheets-json

There are unpackers available like https://github.com/new-world-tools/new-world-tools or https://github.com/MontagueM/NewWorldUnpacker) that are able to extract the datasheets containing the loot tables.

First of all, you need to unpack game I would recommend you to start research from there https://github.com/MontagueM/NewWorldUnpacker

They're not encrypted, just zipped. You can unzip them with this.

The PAK files are huge zip files using Oodle compression Here are two extractors that can handle that: (ts) NSBL/pak-extract and (py) MontagueM/NewWorldUnpacker

I think they feel the same to me as well. I'm not seeing anything in the RuneAbilityTable.json or the GlobalAbilityTable.json that would indicate any difference in charging to me...but this is literally the first time I've looked at these files.

We have access to the game files, so we know this isn't true.

There is no API. Sites like nwdb.info use datamined files to pull information, along with sources they don't share publicly.

Drop rates are not publicly available, even with useful sites like https://nwdb.info/. You can calculate drop rates yourself using information from the datamined files, but it's not as easy as just looking up an item and finding a percentage next to it's name.
