Most emulators are able to export a PNG that you could then print with something like this project! They don't support using a webcam with the ROM for the Game Boy Camera though.
If you buy the real thing, there are lots of projects for extracting and printing the pictures though.
This project implements a fake GB Printer that you can then access via WiFi to download the prints: https://github.com/zenaro147/NeoGB-Printer
This project I wrote a while ago allows you to use a printer very similar to the one in this submission as an actual Game Boy Printer, connected to an original Game Boy: https://github.com/iamjackg/esp32-phomemo-gameboy-printer

OBD2, wireless?
Get an esp32, I made a shift light with some LEDs, an elm327 obd2 adapter and an LCD. https://github.com/RobertoRodriguezls2/ESP32-Shiftlight here's my project, haven't worked on it in a while but I think it should be pretty up to date with the libraries used

LED headlight ring RPM based color change
I actually made an RPM shift light that works wirelessly through an obd2 adapter and an esp32 you can check that out here link You can even change the rpms that it needs to hit in order to light up the next color set.

made my first Arduino project ever, a led panel with custom software
Don't mean to steal the spotlight or anything but you can check out my project too since it also uses a react web page to accept user input, you can check it out here
