Learning MVVM, ViewModel getting too large and I don't know how to handle user inputs(from other window)
I would suggest using a library like http://www.mvvmlight.net to help with implementation of the MVVM pattern. I have used this in multiple commercial projects. It’s lightweight and easy to use. I know MS also has Prism library which helps with MVVM development.
