  • Are there any fractal seeds in SCAD?
    1 project | /r/openscad | 3 Nov 2021
Depends what type of fractal you are looking for. Try searching thingiverse.com. Alternatively look at Eisenscript which was designed to make fractals using simple rules.
  • Factories - generated in BrowserSynth
    2 projects | /r/proceduralgeneration | 10 Jun 2021
It's based on eisenscript (also GitHub) and is basically StructureSynth in a Browser with some more primitives and everything is non-uniform scalable - squashable. Spheres and round things as well. There are small differences in terms of rule order, follow up rules and shearing - so it's not 100% compatible to old scripts but fairly close. Click on a link of one of the factories and give it a go - the script is encoded in the link.
  • BrowserSynth - a javascript implementation of StructureSynth with some additional primitives
    3 projects | /r/proceduralgeneration | 5 May 2021
StructureSynth is old but still quite unique in what it does. Yes, development stopped quite some time ago but it still works great and is now complemented by BrowserSynth which is based on eisenscript (I hope to update to the latest version in the near future)
