  • BrowserSynth

A browser implementation of StructureSynth with more primitives, non-uniform scaling of all primitives and object export for extrenal rendering

  • The algorithm is the same as in StructureSynth - it's a 3D L-sytem. Basically it is just translation/rotation/scaling always on the local coordinate system (so each modification also modifies the coordinate sytem you are woking on in the next step) with lot of recursion and ambiguous rules (to create variety). For the exporter I have modified the standard three.js object exporter a bit - the colour is just the vertex colour. The source code is available GitHub - it is certainly not the cleanest since I just wanted to make it work - which I think it does ;) Object exporter can be found here

  • eisenscript

A programming language designed for generating awesome structures.

  • StructureSynth is old but still quite unique in what it does. Yes, development stopped quite some time ago but it still works great and is now complemented by BrowserSynth which is based on eisenscript (I hope to update to the latest version in the near future)
