Failed transactions with WEBHID
If neither of these options work, I would suggest sticking with Chrome and perhaps trying another Ethereum wallet for your transaction (such as MyEtherWallet or Taho) - and seeing if the error persists across not only different browsers, but 3rd party wallets too.
- What should i do. My ETH coins seems to be in my wallet.
- Staking fees exceed rewards for the next 2 years
- We need a new go-to Hardware wallet for this community (Not Trezor!)

Firmware Outdated & Key Phrase Lost, Locked Out
Have you tried any deprecated MyEtherWallet versions or perhaps MyCrypto - or any other Ethereum wallets that can have Ledgers connect via hardware wallet? Taho (formerly TallyHo) might be a decent option worth trying as well?

About 6 or 7 years ago I bought some XRP and put it on a Ledger….
Your old Nano S won't work with the latest Ledger Live and is probably too old to update in one shot for the new firmware. You may need to grab an old version of Ledger Live from github: https://github.com/LedgerHQ/ledger-live-desktop/releases

I have windows 7 and I believe since it no longer has security updates, ledger live won't connect to my ledger s. Is there anything I can do? I don't have the money to upgrade.
Uninstall the updated version and install older 2.42.0 version. https://github.com/LedgerHQ/ledger-live-desktop/releases
