Anime genres
I believe adding this anime agent to Plex should do the trick. I haven't personally used it since I don't have a dedicated "Anime Shows" or "Anime Movies" library, but looks like it does pull genres according to their github.

What are your favorite plugins/addons for Plex?
For Anime related things there are Metadata Agents for MyAnimeList (the Agent I maintain) and HAMA.

Add different background source to a specific agent
Hello, I use AniList.bundle as an agent for my anime collections. Unfortunately the agent has no good sources for backgrounds. Is there any way to add TheTVDB and TheMovieDb as sources? Hama.bundle supports this, but unfortunately I want to use AniList's database.
