Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Your other option is to find a theme that has a slimmer look, that way you don't have to change the font size or anything else and let the theme take care of the padding. This theme comes to mind, although I haven't personally used it in a while. There's also Linux Mint's official theme Mint-Y, it might be in Pop!_OS's repositories (sudo apt install mint-themes) but there was a recent update that made the themes look much better, I'm unsure if this new update is already in the repos.

Ubuntu on Windows (WSL)
Default terminal colors can be inappropriate. They do not play well with the theme we will install later. To address this issue we will follow tomorrow color theme. Note tomorrow do not provide a theme file dedicated to windows default terminal, but we can define the colors manually.

What's your theme, font, color-scheme of choice?
I change the mono font to Ligconsolata (Inconsolata with ligatures), and for the colors I use Tomorrow Night Eighties.
