not really a theme but I recently enjoy lightly
-
two things missing in KDE? "real" vertical panel, title bar only around the corner
The ones I know of are: Aurorae (built-in one), Kvantum (https://github.com/tsujan/Kvantum/tree/master/Kvantum) and Lightly (just a theme https://github.com/Luwx/Lightly). store.kde.org is down (at least I can't access it at the moment), so I've shared github links.

Alternative to Lightly
It appears as if lightly has not been updated in quite some time, with lingering PRs.

Updated Edna Light
The plasma theme has a slight transparency. In windows and applications it depends on the style of applications you use, the kvantum theme has transparency, the color-schemes for the breeze style do not have transparency. In the screenshot I am using Lightly and I added transparency to the color-schemes.

How to create shortcut for Desktop Effect ?, I'm using grayscale desktop effect
Saw a different example like that some time ago but it was for toggling hiding title bars on maximized windows, so I copied the same structure. If you open the ~/.config/kwinrc you will see the config being edited when you enable/disable the effect in the gui, what way you know which key to change. As for the reload thing I discovered it while working on https://github.com/luisbocanegra/kde-material-you-colors/ :)

Is there a qml type that points to the location of the currently applied wallpaper
I tried to extract the image/color from these wallpapers when I developed the Automatic Material You color schemes generator as you can se here https://github.com/luisbocanegra/kde-material-you-colors/blob/main/src/utils/wallpaper_utils.py but I agree there should be a standardized way of get the current one and if is dynamic having a way to fetch some kind of a snapshot of what is displayed somehow.

Why can't basic apps like Kate and Konsole inherit the system colour scheme?
You can try https://github.com/luisbocanegra/kde-material-you-colors, is an alternative to Plasma's Accent color from wallpaper which supports Konsole, also Kate (KSyntaxHighlighting) but only partially
- Can someone review my package
