I have created a few Public Google Calendars for myself so I can see when there will be matches going on and get a notification beforehand. If anyone is interested you can subscribe to these calendars like LEC, LCK, LPL and LCS. If you can't see the calendar immediately on your phone check the following link and enable the calendar.

Why does the "remember me" part of logging in just not work
Your observation is right. From own experience, Valve does closely monitor IP addresses on login. When anything seems fishy, Steam invalidates your saved credentials when you start it. Which requires you to type in your password and Steam Guard code again. This even happens if you use two Steam accounts on the same PC without special preparation (like not using an account switcher tool)
