    • Your observation is right. From own experience, Valve does closely monitor IP addresses on login. When anything seems fishy, Steam invalidates your saved credentials when you start it. Which requires you to type in your password and Steam Guard code again. This even happens if you use two Steam accounts on the same PC without special preparation (like not using an account switcher tool)
