I took a look and didn't see the documentation, thus I suggest you check out Bulb as it has a lot more activity and documentation. If you really want to use Jobo's look at the repository at https://github.com/borup3/Lighting-System-2D, download the zip and open it up in GM

Thank you! I'd suggest giving the lighting system mentioned in the video a try, it's pretty well documented and easy to set up. (It also exists in the yoyo-marketplace)

Best GUI/UI Extension?
I made this some time ago. It contains most of the things you mentioned, but it's not really oriented towards games. Shadowcat made this which is more about games but I haven't used it much so I couldn't tell you much more about it.
- Are menu settings supposed to be hard?
