LibreLingo VS autocards

How does this project compare to LibreLingo ( https://github.com/LibreLingo/LibreLingo )? Why would I choose UnueBee over LibreLingo?

Maybe you could team up with LibreLingo, but the real hurdle as others have stated is getting the languages down, that takes real expertise, in fact LibreLingo is still stuck on Spanish as the only language you can learn. That said, I don't think the effort would be entierly wasted, if we built an app either on top of that or entirely from scratch, it would serve as a great base for other languages to be introduced down the road if the proof of concept hits the mark. It would also need a lot of resonance to attract enough quality contributors that added the meat to the app

Maybe try https://librelingo.app. It's open source.

Wouldn't it be better just to contribute to one of the existing ones, like LibreLingo?

there is librelingo though, and there was an attempt to make a tp course in it way back when (though it petered out early on)

Are you familiar with autocards? https://github.com/paulbricman/autocards it also uses a language ai (gpt) for making anki cards automatically

More information for the content you're wishing to create cards for would be helpful to include. I've been toying with an AI project that was posted a while back called autocards which interprets written text and then generates questions. It isn't perfect, but provides a nice base to build on for learning new material. Copying text from Wikipedia articles or textbooks has produced some useful cards, but you still have to edit grammar occasionally and it doesn't work super great for subjects with irregular sentence structures (i.e. chemistry texts that use long notation of molecules including lots of dashes and commas)

Sounds like a nice possible option, ignore_references as an option of the consume functions or something. Thanks for the idea! Added here.
