Trying to get klipper onto creality wifi box
Hey guys, I've been following this tutorial for converting a creality wifi box to run klipper: https://github.com/ihrapsa/KlipperWrt

Klipper on the CR-10 Smart Pro
On a Laptop, log into the Printers Wifi (It will be named CXSWBox-12345678ABCDEF or similar), the password is "12345678". You will get an IP address via DHCP. The Wifi Boards web interface is reachable at 10.10.10.254 with username "admin" and password "admin". Go to Administration > Upload Firmware. Choose one one of the -factory images at https://github.com/ihrapsa/KlipperWrt/tree/main/Firmware/OpenWrt_snapshot, depending if you want to run fluidd or mainsail (Comparison is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHVVcjtWTyA). Upload the image, you will get a message "Not a valid firmware". Go to http://10.10.10.254/adm/system_command.shtml and enter mv /var/tmpFW /media/mmcblk0p1/cxsw_update.tar.bz2 and for the next command reboot. Then wait for a KlipperWrt Wifi to show up. Connect to it, use the static IP 192.168.1.23 with netmask 255.255.255.0. The web interface is available at 192.168.1.1:81.

Klipper/Mainsail on android phone
I recall that Android phones are unreliable for Klipper with all of their built in power saving features that will interrupt prints. Any device that runs Linux should be able to run Klipper. A VM on a Mac or PC should be able to do it as long as you can reliably forward the virtual serial port. Running on a router is possible with KlipperWRT. https://github.com/ihrapsa/KlipperWrt

Installing upgrades right away or setting it up stock first?
I bought an Ender 3 v2 for my son as a birthday a couple of weeks ago, it came with the Creality cloud box (as a free gift). The cloud box was promptly flashed to OpenWrt and Klipper installed using guidance from https://github.com/ihrapsa/KlipperWrt.

Windows updated 8 hours into a print. I’m gonna cry.
Klipper is awesome and once it’s installed and up and running I can control my printer via my LAN network and upload STL’s and control the printer using the Mainsail Web interface. https://docs.mainsail.xyz

Successor to JyersM firmware?
I prefer Klipper. It requires another computer (such as a raspberry pi) but it is so much easier to modify and make changes. It also has built in leveling functions and other great benefits. https://docs.mainsail.xyz/ https://www.klipper3d.org/

Got a Ender 3 S1 Plus (300x300) for cheap. Leveled the bed manually, but realized that all 4 corners are much higher (0.412) than the middle. Is this bed doomed?

Downloaded klipper 2 hrs ago need help
My recommendation if your just setting up: do yourself a huge favor and do not use OctoPrint. Instead I recommend using Mainsail of Fluidd. They’re both great web interfaces designed specifically for Klipper. Very fast, lightweight and take advantage of all available Klipper functions. Octoprint is very resource hungry.

Help me build a Dream Printer... what would you do?
Convert that thing to a corexy via Mercury One, throw a Stealthburner on it, and get yourself a raspberry pi to run Klipper/Mainsail.
- Problem printing holes - leveling issue?
-
First time Klipper user here, Printing is EXTREMELY slow
In the past I used OctoPrint, but now I moved to Mainsail, because it has a better ui and some plugins are directly build in. You can install Kiauh and use it to install Mainsail or Fluidd next to OctoPrint.
-
Print speed limited
Personally I prefer Mainsail. But Fluidd is also popular.

Upgrading Anycubic mega zero 2.0 with wifi
If you can get ahold of a Raspberry Pi, MainsailOS is a prebuilt sd card image that has everything preinstalled.
- Just checking, but can an Orange Pi (not Raspberry Pi) run OctoPrint?
What are some alternatives?
KlipperScreen - GUI for Klipper
fluidd - Fluidd, the klipper UI.
OpenWrt-Rpi - Raspberry Pi & NanoPi R2S/R4S & G-Dock & x86 OpenWrt Compile Project. (Based on Github Action / Daily Update)
OctoPrint - OctoPrint is the snappy web interface for your 3D printer!
OctoWrt - A guide to install Octoprint on the Creality WiFi Box or similar OpenWrt devices
FluiddPI - FluiddPi - A Pi image with Klipper, Moonraker, Fluidd and Web Camera support pre-installed.
klipper-web-control-docker - Klipper with Moonraker shipped with Fluidd and/or Mainsail
crowsnest - Webcam Service for multiple Cams
klipper-prusa-mk3s - Structured Klipper config for Prusa MK3s 3D printer
octo4a - Use your old Android device as an OctoPrint server.
