I just went through the same build and I just included the klicky files as specified here, edited the variables file and that was it
- Unpopular opinion: ABL is trash
- Z-offset is constantly changing after every quad_gantry_level (v2.4)
- Ender 6 with SKR mini e3v3 and klipper ABL options

Macro to save a few seconds on heating up/start print
I don't have any problems with temps holding, but I do wait for temps to soak. Mine is similar, I don't fully heat the nozzle until the very end, but I do a heat soak and relevel afterwards. I also load a hot-mesh that was previously preformed.
