Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

- Any ideas how to get sensor data to OneDrive or personal Webserver via Internet?
- What to use to log temp and humidity for single board with dht11?
- I'm a newbie wanting to make a system to measure atmospheric data at intervals and record it in a spreadsheet. How do I get the data from my device to CSV?

WiFi Remote Voltage Monitor (possibly ready to use)
SOFTWARE: Don't know your needs, but once you have the hardware above, you have a platform that can read voltage and connect to wifi - serve a webpage, connect to another server to log, or a simple solution i like is log to a google sheet.
- Need help with code - Stopwatch sends data to Google Sheets
-
IoT Cheese Press
I just log data to Google Sheets.
-
Hamster Wheel Tachometer. After standstill, the display shows the total distance covered by "Mentos" (Hamster). I plan to implement a data logger to record the performance of the Hamster for a long period of time.
If you have an ESP8266 you can log data to Google Sheets for easy data logging

Rainfall sensor: How does everyone normally record the values?
I created a tutorial for the best way I found to log data to Google Sheets: https://github.com/StorageB/Google-Sheets-Logging
- Sending sensor data over the internet
- Log data directly to Google Sheets without the need for a 3rd party service.

ESP32 provisioning web server
Minus the ethernet, I think this is doing what you're trying to do https://github.com/gmag11/EnigmaIOT

Freezers tripped a breaker and we almost lost $1000 worth of meat. Problem solved.
OMG, I'm trying to find code or a project that does this exact thing... ESP-based sensor clients communicating via ESP-NOW with another ESP acting as gateway to a remote MQTT server. I found EnigmaIOT on GitHub and it looks very full featured, but for the life of me I can't get any of its node/sensor examples to compile. ;(

Can connect to the WiFi AP of the ESP32, but not to its IP
Might be something to do with hairpin NAT within the firmware? Usually what you're doing works and from the comments it should work but you're missing something tiny the other examples must do? Here's a good project that has full featured star network connectivity with a portal of config to the device itself https://github.com/gmag11/EnigmaIOT
-
How many can connect at once?
I recommend you: https://github.com/gmag11/EnigmaIOT
What are some alternatives?
WiFiManager - ESP8266 WiFi Connection manager with web captive portal
esphome - ESPHome is a system to control your ESP8266/ESP32 by simple yet powerful configuration files and control them remotely through Home Automation systems.
ESP-Google-Sheet-Client - Arduino Google Sheet REST client library for Arduino
ESPAsyncWebServer - Async Web Server for ESP8266 and ESP32
esp_mesh_pir_sensor - EspNow Flooding mesh example PIR sensor node. Part of the ESP32, ESP8266 flooding mesh project.
OpenGrow-IoT-Plant-Monitor - An IoT enabled monitor for soil moisture and light availability for a plant.
WifiEspNow - ESP-NOW Arduino library for ESP8266 and ESP32
WaterLevel - 💧 Monitoring water tanker level using NodeMCU ESP8266 and HC-SR04P Ultrasonic Sensor and broadcasting it using a simple HTTP server inside NodeMCU ESP8266 and show data in an Android App
weeSpindel - Smaller, simpler version of the iSpindel. NOTE: Work-in-progress
BH1750FVI - Digital Light Sensor
ESP-Now-Sensor-system-with-WiFi - ESP-Now is used for battery operated Sensors (based on ESP8266, ESP32) sending to a Gateway which also is connected with WiFi to the Internet (at the same time).
