Is there a way to edit markdown in vscode and sync directly to browsers input field of a website, like reddit for example?
The GhostText extension might fit the bill for what you're asking for.

Email + Emacs/Vim Keybindings + Latex = Does not exist?
Another possible solution is to use something like GhostText (https://github.com/fregante/GhostText) in the browser. However, this solution is unworkable because when you open up an email, all the nasty html shows up in the external editor.

Can I use xdotool (or another program) to cut the contents of a text field to the clipboard?
If anyone is curious, I'd use the command in conjunction with emacs-anywhere to paste the contents on an Emacs window, and then paste it again on the text field with my edits. And yes, I am aware that atomic-chrome can do that, but it doesn't work with every website and I'd like a solution that does not depend on how any particular browser and website is coded.
