GenSMBIOS VS OpenCore-Install-Guide

Most likely you don't have any serial number bound to that VM. You can generate a SN with this script by typing your Mac model

Is your SMBIOS configured properly ? Use Corpnewt’s GenSMBIOS Also, you may create a separate account on your hackintosh to do this.

Looks like you're trying to use a "Configurator" utility in your video.Most likely part of your problem. Not any part of them are supported around here. Try GenSMBios or just manually enter it in your config.

OpenCore 0.8.7 / Dumping DSDT use SSDTTime for generate ACPI Tables / Use genSMBIOS for generate MLB (Board Serial), ROM (Mac Address), SystemSerialNumber (Serial), SystemUUID (SmUUID)

if you have/did a proper SMBIOS injection, nothing happens, it's just like you have a real mac. Just avoid changing your SMBIOS abruptly (if ever) with your account logged in, best to log out and try new SMBIOS. For better SMBIOS injection I recommend you to use "GenSMBIOS". In my case, all services always work on the first try.

To keep costs down, Keep an eye on local market place and classified sites for a cheapish gaming PC with an AMD card in it (RX’s 5700 / 5700xt / 5600xt / 6600xt / 6600). Look up the parts here on Reddit and https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/ to see if people have problems or methods needed to make them work.

Idk much about amd gpu support but u can check it on Dortania’s open core guide which I highly recommend you to follow
