First tell me what's your laptop specs. I am talking about dortania opencore guide. The website is .It's for opencore bootloader. If you are are using clover then I don't know much. In that website click getting started. And read carefully. In config choose intel laptop config.plist and select your processor config and follow the instructions.
  • Can't install Catalina 10.15.7 (OpenCore)
I've been stuck on installation for my first build, having gone through the OpenCore guide, I am getting issues when trying to install Catalina 10.15.7. Right now the error I am getting is after I choose which disk to install to (after erasing/partitioning it), and after the computer reboots to begin installing on the SSD. It goes through the apple logo with progress bar up until about 3 minutes left, and then I get the error:
  • Did him Good
Honestly, I'd compare it more to Arch linux. Have a look at what is basically the holy bible of hackintoshing, the Dortiana Install Guide. The hardest part is the config, but it walks you through every option and what it does, for almost every Intel and AMD cpu. Also, all injection is done through the boot loader now, so you can update it just like a real mac.
  • I can hear you all yelling at me now... but...
if you follow this Guide ,which i hope you are familiar with, and carefully select your parts you're fine. as said, especially if you want to seriously work on it, parts choice is pretty much paramount and you have research which graphics card suits your compatibility needs.
