Mouse and Camera Control issues
people say they use this arcdps extension to clip the mouse to the window, but i haven't used it myself: https://github.com/Krappa322/arcdps_unofficial_extras_releases there's an open issue from last year saying it doesn't work anymore. but it might still work, i'd give it a shot. it won't fix the mouse teleporting though.

I want to love the game but the issues I'm having make it difficult.
I don't know about the mouse acceleration thing, but I believe that if you have enhance pointer precision enabled on Windows that is what your mouse is supposed to do, so you should disable it. There is this addon for the cursor issues that the game has, it can prevent the cursor from moving around while you are adjusting your camera so you are not scrolling your minimap/chat and other stuff while messing with your camera and it also can prevent your mouse from jumping out of the screen.

Squad role tracker plugin
The unofficial extras addon exists exactly for this purpose, it is closed-source and provides an API to get a list of players in your squad that are in a different instance (and a few other things).

on the website for arcdps is a discord invite where they have a channel for several arcdps plugins i would recomend the https://github.com/Krappa322/arcdps_unofficial_extras_releases/releases/tag/v1.1.3 plugin it shows you kp of people even if they are not on the same map
