It hasn't been done yet because it would either require each player to have the same mods...or they'd have to disallow mods (and the Sims games are pretty empty without mods). There is the Sims 4 multiplayer mod...and there's also https://freeso.org/

If you're able to launch runelite once through the jagex launcher you can make runelite launch without the jagex launcher or needing to login every time. https://github.com/runelite/runelite/wiki/Using-Jagex-Accounts

I don't know about the orignal jagex client, but runelite supports linux. You should be able to downlaod it directly from https://runelite.net/
