Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Has anyone used one of these?
Come on over to /r/hotasDIY. Best thing to do would be to get an STM32 Bluepill, get a 2 axis joystick from Adafruit (MPN: 245), get a breadboard (MPN: 4539), and some jumper wires (MPN: 1956). Then you can flash the Bluepill with Freejoy firmware and set it up with their configurator, no coding required.

Leo Bodnar alternatives
FreeJoy is a nice firmware for a game controller, but the used "Blue Phil" (STM32F103C8 ) boards very poor - build quality, components.
-
Could someone please explain this to me.
Similar - FreeJoy, but for STM32F103C8 - 'Blue Phil" cards, even more cheap.
- I saw lot of people showing their simpit. so heres mine

What is this, and why are you running? (II, 8 months revision)
7: Software: Will use Freejoy in a custom made "blue pill" that sits in the handle. More on it later.

Achievement unlocked. When VKBsim praises your DiY work
No, the joystick base has a gimbal with hall sensors (no wear) and it's fully analog XY sensing. It also has a hall analog twist axis built in the upper handle. It runs FreeJoy firmware on a custom shaped bluepill (STM32F103C8T6). It gets fully identified as a usb joystick and works as normal. It can accept about 25 direct buttons and 8 analog axis, or up to 256 buttons using an array with diodes (that's for simpits, I suppose).

Got the SimJacks Pro
Once downloaded, open up and click on "Read config from Device" and then "Save config to file" to save the stock config for safekeeping. Then, select the "Axes Config" tab and calibrate the 3 pedals/axis. Once done, click on "Write config to Device" and also "Save config to file" again if you like. There's a wiki here if you get stuck: https://github.com/FreeJoy-Team/FreeJoyWiki

I'm trying to wire up a throttle with a ton of buttons in the hand grip and minimal wiring space in the passage between the handle and main body. Best way to do it?
Not sure if you've already looked into it, but if you didn't check out shift registers. They'll allow you to run theoretically any number of buttons with only 5 wires by using daisy chain. In reality you'll probably be limited by the fact that Windows doesn't accept more than 64 buttons for each device in it's generic joystick interface. It's still plenty, though.

Shift Registers and MMJoy2
I've spent about 2 days trying to google the issue and gone over every join I've got with a multimeter, I'm pretty sure it's not a short which was the only issue I saw suggested. I've tried a variety of different ways of wiring the things up. I was originally trying to copy this wiring scheme.

Should i get CH Throttle for 20$ if the seller says condition unknown (it has gameport connector so no way to test it, i guess).

what are the 4 resistors needed with the TLE5011 chip when using it with a FreeJoy?
ok so i got the board, i have the ship. . now all i need to figure out is the resistors. this image here only shows 1 resistor and capacitor? (did i read that correctly?) https://github.com/FreeJoy-Team/FreeJoyWiki/blob/master/eng/TLE501x-connection.md

Does a Bluepill support a Hall Effect Sensor? (if so what V and Ma?)
like someone said i should use these https://github.com/FreeJoy-Team/FreeJoyWiki/blob/master/eng/TLE501x-connection.md over these https://www.amazon.com/Gikfun-AH3144E-Magnetic-Detector-Arduino/dp/B07QS6PN3B/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3IUR32C2ZB0QX&keywords=Hall+Effect+Sensor&qid=1645375830&sprefix=5+volt+10+ma+hall+effect+sensor%2Caps%2C55&sr=8-4
