Real-time form validation with Flask-Meld - No Javascript
The component code can be found here: https://github.com/mikeabrahamsen/Flask-Meld/blob/main/examples/app/meld/components/login_form.py

Lona – A web framework for responsive web apps in full Python without JavaScript
It's great to have more and more of these projects, especially since frontend dev is such a huge time sink (if you're not doing it 100%).
There are also some similar projects, for example flask-meld [1] for flask (also via websockets but falls back to polling if not available) and django-unicorn [2] (afaik only polling).

Building React Components Using Unions in TypeScript
Naturally I’d recommend using a better language such as ReScript or Elm or PureScript or F#‘s Fable + Elmish, but “React” is the king right now and people perceive TypeScript as “less risky” for jobs/hiring, so here we are.

Why I'm Leaving Elm
PureScript[1][2] seems pretty alive these days. From my relatively small, self-contained experiments, it's a lot more flexible and expressive than Elm at the expense of (maybe?) being a bit harder to learn up-front.

What are some alternatives?
PyWebIO - Write interactive web app in script way.
fp-ts - Functional programming in TypeScript
remi - Python REMote Interface library. Platform independent. In about 100 Kbytes, perfect for your diet.
reason - Simple, fast & type safe code that leverages the JavaScript & OCaml ecosystems
htmx - </> htmx - high power tools for HTML
elm-reactor
hotwire-rails - Use Hotwire in your Ruby on Rails app
Elm - Compiler for Elm, a functional language for reliable webapps.
streamlit - Streamlit — A faster way to build and share data apps.
rescript-compiler - The compiler for ReScript.
mybp - Flask web app for users that want to record their blood pressure readings. In the future this app should allow members to share their blood pressure readings with their doctors by email, printout or maybe having a login account for doctors to view their patients blood pressure readings. Last part will take more time.
Idris2 - A purely functional programming language with first class types
