Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Data mining question
Keep in mind that there will be a loss of data resolution/accuracy between the original, raw signal data and what you're able to infer from the graphical representation (even with something like PlotDigitizer).

Nerd-Storage - A simple LAN storage
PyMatting - A Python library for alpha matting
dupln - Hard link files with same content
python-halftone - A python module that uses PIL/Pillow to give images a halftone effect
image_feature_extraction - A collection of python classes for feature extractions. The features are calculated inside a Region of Interest (ROI) and not for the whole image: the image is trully a polygon!
FotoKilof - GUI for ImageMagick and Wand
Photomosaic-Creator - This script allows you to create a photomosaic from a set of images.
imgmanip - Image manipulation tool written in python in which you can select a large number of photos and perform a lot of different operations on them.
