Is anyone running octoprint on an ESP32?
I do not run these, but I have been keeping my eye on them. Not exactly Octoprint, but a kind of stripped down idea of it, running on esp32's. ESP3D Fiber-Punk Hackaday link Fiber-Punk Main website

WiFi serial bridge? ESP32 > Docker: Octoprint
Someone was able to do it with BigTreeTech SKR, an ESP32 board with ESP3D installed on it, and an Octoprint plugin called Octoprint-network-printing. More info can be found HERE.

Which device for both a USB drive and a wifi upload
maybe this: https://github.com/luc-github/ESP3D
- 3D printing wirelessly with Arduino ?
- I made a board to transfer files to SD card over WiFi

wifi showing up as USB-serial connection possible?
https://github.com/luc-github/ESP3D they focus on 3d printers but it has a grbl mode and will act as a serial bridge bonus is you can even get some basic remote control.

Connecting to Octoprint Through WiFi
I want to do something similar, not with 3 printers tho but with 1 printer and an esp8266/32 for serial. I looked at this project before https://github.com/luc-github/ESP3D

Some knowledge about 3D printer wifi module
For No Linux hardware solutions, there are very few software solutions available, currently ESP3Dis available.

Major Issues
Personally I use that firmware: https://github.com/DodgeDeBoulet/Marlin-Deprecated there’s bin and DW soft for LCD.

First calibration print. I’m seeing some banding about 1/3 of the way up. Is this z bind? This is my first H-Bot print, so I’m not positive.
A branch of marlin exists for an ender 5plus with dual z setup with separate drivers, if you're confident compiling and updating the firmware on the board, it's definitely the way I'd go. Think this is the right one: https://github.com/DodgeDeBoulet/Marlin-Deprecated

Brand new E5+ bed over an inch away from nozzle when at 0
I think this will get you where you need to go. You’ll have to flash both the board and the screen. It’s a little trouble to save you a lot of headache in the long run.

Upgraded to SKR Mini e3 v2. Haven't gotten to change off boot screen
yes, the base display that shipped with it just changed to this guy's software to test out, https://github.com/DodgeDeBoulet/Marlin-Deprecated. E5P_BIL_256K_SKRMINIE3_20 is firmware picked.

Can stock Ender 5 plus screen be used with SKR Mini E3 V2?
For ender 5 PLUS can you use stock screen with SKR mini E3 V2 board? The closest I got was this GitHub..https://github.com/DodgeDeBoulet/Marlin-Deprecated
- Help with my Ender 5 plus display PLEASE ! :D

Middle Of Bed Higher Than Rest Not Adjustable By
All of the code is up on my GitHub repo at https://github.com/DodgeDeBoulet/Marlin. I think you'll be better off playing with the bugfix-2.0.x branch, though, since it fixes some problems with bed coverage. You'll need VS Code and its PlatformIO extension to get very far with compiling your own firmware.

Alternative firmware?
Both the Insanity Automation Marlin fork and my own support the silent board with Marlin 2.0, and include updated screen firmware to add some useful features to the touchscreen. One of those is the ability to adjust Z-offset from the display, along with e-Steps, PID tuning and other little tweaks.
What are some alternatives?
