Problem organizing assets
I've found https://github.com/EightBitz/Dungeondraft-Custom-Tags , but I don't know if this is the best option by far.

Does anyone know of a good tutorial on how to make your custom assets colorable? I can't find a good one for the life of me.
With those tools you can create new tags (such as 'colorable') and choose which objects get which tags. It's all done outside of DD before you compile. Unfortunately, this is all a bit much to fit into a Reddit comment, but once you get used to 8-bitz stuff, it gets way easier. 8-bitz custom tag tool is more focused and is just for editing tags, while the one I linked above can compile/decompile packs and do a bunch of other stuff.

How to tag everything in an asset pack at once?
Eightbitz DungeonDraft Tools can tag assets as well as pack them. He also created another application to make custom tags to be used in the pack so that things are a little easier to work with once the pack is used in DungeonDraft. They are both super easy to use. I've literally created packs with tens of thousands of assets in less than an hour using these tools. The longest part with packs that big is just waiting for the program to finish. (Prior to Forgotten Adventures creating their own DungeonDraft file I converted them all myself and that was around 20,000 items.)

Dungeondraft Tutorial: Let's build - Cave & Dungeon [PART 4] Shadows & Lighting
It also contains a section on how to add a tag to the assets so that you can find them more easily.Eightbitz also developed a piece of software to help with that, it might make it a bit easier in the future!

Easier Asset Pack Creation?
Sorry if you've already had a response like this, but have you heard of EightBitz's tools?

Can't add custom colorable object
You should probably just use This tool by EightBitz and live happily ever after. Thank me later!

Help required: I cannot make custom assets appear
Hello. I'm having some real issues trying to get my custom assets to work. I've been trying to follow this guide (https://github.com/Megasploot/Dungeondraft/wiki/Custom-Assets-Guide) but without success. I'm not tech-literate enough to recognise if I've misunderstood something, but from my own pov, nothing I do works.
- Looking for help: I want to make a custom texture which is partially transparent. It's supposed to be a gradient shadow. I need the white parts of this image to be transparent, when the asset is used as a pattern texture in Dungeondraft. Do you know how to do this?

How do I import png files? I can't find a source folder or extract the example.
Step 1 of the Step-By-Step Guide says, " Extract the example template zip file to a location of your choice. You can locate the .zip either from the Package Custom Assets window button called 'Example Template' or in the install folder of Dungeondraft. "

Delve (Dungeon23)
So for the water, do you mean like the depression/elevation kind of lines? I don't know how to do that right now, or if it's possible. I would definitely want to have it that way, since that's how it is in the books. I didn't see anything like it mentioned in the Custom Assets Guide that would allow for something like that, where the contours will follow the shape of the body of water. Not to mention, the contours generally indicate a difference in depth in intervals, so those would be better added by hand anyway to be specific to that body of water.

Making Art Assets
This guide from Megasploot is what I followed for making my BXIcons packs. I just did everything by hand, all the tagging and stuff, but I think there are tools to automate some steps like that. The only real advice I'd say is do what the guide says. It tells exactly how everything works

Experienced GM looking for map making software.
Custom assets are added by creating a package and loading it into an instance. https://github.com/Megasploot/Dungeondraft/wiki/Custom-Assets-Guide

Considering the purchase of the software, anyone have any experience with making modern day/sci fi maps with it?
Yes, you just need to put them in a folder and generate a pack.
What are some alternatives?
