We know that Adaptive Triggers can be programable by the developers and on PC side: reverse engineering efforts is proof of that . Despite that, until Sony figure out a way to expose those functions on Linux's side (see this article for more info), we won't see that anytime soon.

My beloved Steam controller finally died. RIP. Advice needed on alternative options
I'd advise you to use DualSenseX instead: it enables basic haptics support and can use mods to take advantage of adaptive triggers, like these.
What are some alternatives?
