DriverStoreExplorer VS TinyNvidiaUpdateChecker

When asking questions like this, consider using something like DriverStoreExplorer. It can help you deduce what version is lower then the one you are currently seeing in updates. Also, to clean out any unwanted, unused and old driver versions.

You can try manually uninstalling the outdated driver with the open source project Driver Store Explorer from GitHub.

- Remove all past sound drivers using (the installer sometimes does not remove all drivers): DriverStore Explorer or Uninstall Nahimic Realtek

1. Download Driver Explorer.

Remove A-volute/Sonic studio from your computer. By uninstalling it from device manager under the Audio tab then completely remove all related files by using DriverStore Explorer and select any driver related to sonic studio and delete it.

I did find several mentions of the Synapse 3 software and issues with THX and that, but I'm not installing Synapse 3 as I have no devices that need it. In the instructions tho, I found the Razer Driver Clean Up Tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj and I tried using that and it says that it cleaned the driver files out. Turns out it didn't remove the rxthxspatial.inf which I found out by running the DriverStoreExplorer from here: https://github.com/lostindark/DriverStoreExplorer/releases

I use this program to do my GPU updates. I keep GeForce installed just for the recording features but this tool makes updating so much simpler, and much quicker than GeForce ever did

You could use https://github.com/ElPumpo/TinyNvidiaUpdateChecker, that'll pop up a little window once it finds a newer driver was released.

Also Tiny Nvidia Update Checker. Checks for updates and prompts you when there's a new version.

I don't install Nvidia's driver package because it's full of garbage I don't want, like geforce experience and telemetry. this handy tool lets me just install driver updates without any extra junk.
