DoomRunner
- GZDOOM Launcher?

Issues running GunCaster with it's addon.
But by using a front-end loader like DoomRunner, I can make individual mod profiles that save load orders and configs specific to that mod. It’s not elegant, but it offers a lot of flexibility for swapping mods quickly.

What are your favorite mods for PC games?
Also, a launcher is recommended, especially if you want to play multiple mods t once. Dragging and dropping onto the EXE is bad form and can lead to load order issues. I recommend (this one)[https://github.com/Youda008/DoomRunner]

Mega stupid question about Gzdoom and ZDL - I am not good at computers in the slightest, sorry
I sincerely recommend you to use Doom Runner instead of ZDL DoomRunner is more user friendly, and has many more features

Launching DR4 with DoomRunner?
I use the DoomRunner client and I absolutely love it. Before any advice starts to go down that channel, I'm not really interested in using any other clients unless there is no other way but I fully expect DoomRunner should be able to do pretty much anything any other client might do. The first time I played DR4 was through ZDL and I did get it going but I found it clunky and confusing, DoomRunner's clean interface and super intuitive presets are right on point for me. You might still supply a helpful answer even if it is tailored to the client of your choice, though, so please don't hold back!

Some help with using mods?
Best way to run doom mods I found is to use this one. https://github.com/Youda008/DoomRunner It not only handles mods but you can have separate ini files for different gameplay mods. ZDL sorta sucks in that department.

I forked SteamOS for my living room PC
- KDE/wayland
> That said, these things work flawlessly on the Deck.
Likely due to running into these graphics driver -> WM and similar compatibility issues and fixing them. The other performance improvements from kernel changes probably don't hurt either.
