I just fixed the Trackpad AlpsAlpine Dell with this guide (for me) but the credits are of QuanTrieuPCYT (Thanks to the fact that he left his EFI I could see why my trackpad was not going in my Dell Latitude 5480 model)

Did you try RealtekCardReader.kext and Realtek Card Reader Friend? yet? There's a ton of supported devices on there.

Some touchscreen load problem wish could get help.
SD card reader (cant't be load on boot sometimes with cholonam/Sinetek-rtsx, or can't be formatt with 0xFireWolf/RealtekCardReader);

Since the XPS line uses Realtek SD card readers, I'd check out RealtekCardReader.kext. I threw this into my EFI folder, updated my config.plist and voila! Worked like a charm.
