need help "Unable to start software return to the home menu and try again"
One option to try if you’re still having issues is remove atmosphere and anything else except your nintendo folder and try Deep Sea. It’s just atmosphere with a few programs and sys modules pre bundled but mix that with the latest hekate update (5.6.3) and it should just work

SX Lite on Atmosphere doesn't boot after update
I tried both fusee.bin and hekate-ctaer.bin renamed to payload.bin on different tests. Also tried using a release from Deepsea (https://github.com/Team-Neptune/DeepSea) . Same result, doesn't boot.
- Installed atmosphere 1.0.0 and new sigpatches, I wanted to update it to 12.1.0 but I get a black screen after inserting the new payload

Do game/programmer IDs have checksums?
Late reply -- but yes they do! I've been reverse-engineering Game Builder Garage with the aim of making a save editor. It's a bit more complicated than the first 3 digits though. Here's some Typescript code for parsing an ID + verifying its checksum if you want to get an idea of how it works: https://github.com/jaames/game-builder-garage-editor/blob/main/src/utils/gbgId.ts#L124
