I have looked into contacting csgostats.gg to get a lot of matches at once (they even have a page but it doesn't load anything for me: https://csgostats.gg/match) but it seems like parsing that many matches is a lot and I encountered issues. I have worked with demoinfo to parse demos and collect statistics and have tried feeding the statistics into a machine learning model but it was a whole hell of a lot of work to manually tag cheaters and you cannot go based on VAC bans (not everyone cheats in every round or game) and I got tired very quickly. Though I will likely pick it back up in a month or two after I finish with the other six personal projects I've got going on.
