CataclysmLD VS PyRLTut2021

In the sidebar for this sub under the 'other projects' section there is an entry for Cataclysm: Looming Darkness; a multiplayer rewrite of the game. As I haven't tested that fork myself I can't vouch for how complete/actively developed it is, it's probably your best bet for a multiplayer cata.

Cataclysm: Looming Darkness is also a thing that is in development, however, it is very barebones right now and uses a MUD in order to function. (https://github.com/stolencatkarma/CataclysmLD)

There is a version of the game being devloped as a MUD or a MUSH or something like that where the game plays out in live action on multiplayer. Like most games being developed, I don't expect it to ever go anywhere or come close to completion. But it does exist and that's impressive enough. The game systems are completely rebuilt to be tailored around multiplayer. Read through the first few parts of the tutorial and I signed myself up for quite a task! The patterns don't at all align with the way I understand HaxeFlixel (the library I know well enough to use) to work. I'll probably not follow the actual tutorial, just the broad steps in the titles of the parts in Haxe. I am comfortable in Python and did start a separate repo in Python following the tutorial with a devlog of thoughts.
