CDDA-Tilesets VS CDDA-Game-Launcher

Updated MSx open air and gutter sprite for this new feature https://github.com/I-am-Erk/CDDA-Tilesets/pull/2013

I'm not sure if it qualifies as "basic," but Cataclysm:DDA has a number of tilesets, one of most popular being this one. It's also just a terrific game.

If you want to try and mix sprites you can either do math and find the sprites location in MSX or you can get them all unstiched from the tile pack github: https://github.com/I-am-Erk/CDDA-Tilesets It can take a hot minute to unpack once downloaded though.

last update specifically for Altica was in november https://github.com/I-am-Erk/CDDA-Tilesets/tree/master/gfx but Altica also pulls sprites automatically from Ultica so it's getting updated at least as often as Ultica.

It got added to the repo https://github.com/I-am-Erk/CDDA-Tilesets/pull/1879 and should be part of the next tileset update around monday if I didn't mess up the workflow

I don't know what launcher people use, but this file on this one defines the cdda repo urls: https://github.com/remyroy/CDDA-Game-Launcher/blob/master/cddagl/constants.py You could probably just changes that file to use tish urls.

I highly recommend using a launcher, like the CDDA Launcher (which is not being updated anymore but still works well), or Catapult. These will not only launch the game, but will allow you to easily manage tilesets, soundpacks, save backups, etc.

Also, the game is 100% free. Gets multiple experimental updates daily (open-source). And has a fairly extensive modding scene with multiple tileset options to play with. You can grab the launcher here and it will let you download everything you need to start messing around.
