I've worked on a patch to try to improve the level of detail at which the original electronics are modeled, but I am a noob at verilog and as a consequence:

C64 core 1541
I have both a MiSTer and an Ultimate64 and even though the MiSTer is getting better, the U64 is much more compatible with any d64 or g64 I throw at it. It also can use dolphindos to load disk images faster than jiffydos.
