DreamWorks releases OpenMoonRay source code
I had the same question. There exists a USD addon for Blender that support Hydra, so probably you could get that to work with a bit of trial and error!

Blender 3.0 takes support for AMD GPUs to the next level
Hi there. I help there. ProRender is still very important as it has hardware accelerated raytracing while Cycles does not yet on AMD.
Furthermore we're focusing our efforts on ProRender going forward through USD. https://github.com/GPUOpen-LibrariesAndSDKs/BlenderUSDHydraA... Adding USD workflows to blender and other apps while using ProRender for the rendering solution in USD.

CUDA Accelerated Raytracer
Yeah this is neat but it is 90% not done and that is being generous.
For a open source path tracer with a full glTF compatible material model and lighting and runs in the browser check out:

Or if you want hardcore features look at Moonray from Dreamworks:

Guys, remember when DreamWorks dropped the bomb that MoonRay would be open source by 2022? I'm just hoping it's not slipping anyone's mind. Let's keep our fingers crossed for some sweet open source action!
Hey guys, so I've been keeping my eyes peeled on this website, https://openmoonray.org/, for like 4 freaking months and lemme tell ya, not a damn thing has changed. And to make matters worse, people stopped gabbing about it after the 3rd week of August. I'm not even that tech-savvy, but I was genuinely excited to see what peeps could possibly create with this. But now it's almost 2022 and nada. What gives?

What are some alternatives?
vuh - Vulkan compute for people
raytracer - C++ raytracer that supports custom models. Supports running the calculations on the CPU using C++11 threads or in the GPU via CUDA.
BlenderUSDHydraAddon - This add-on allows you to assemble and compose USD data with Blender data and render it all using various renderers via Hydra.
