- Looking for some help in downloading a few thousand files from archive.org on ubuntu. wget is estimated to take 2 months... I figured I should ask the fellow data-hoarders!

What would be the best way to archive an archive.org account? This person has been uploading thousands of high quality rare vinyl rips with lossless high-resolution scans. I don't wanna lose it
Hi, I made a tool a little while ago to help me accomplish what I believe OP is asking for, here us the link: https://github.com/henry386/BaseCase-3

Article says that today's students are unfamiliar with the concept of files and folders, is this your experience?
But search is so slow, no? I hate searching. I even wrote my own binary to text converter just so I don't have to keep waiting for DuckDuckGo's one to load.

echo "text" prints out "text". This is useful with those fancy operators I mentioned earlier. |, for example, takes the output of one program, and puts it in another. One of my programs, for example – bin2txt – is designed to use pipes for input, so to translate some binary to some text, you could use echo "01110011 01101111 01101101 01100101 00100000 01110100 01100101 01111000 01110100 00001010"|./bin2txt. Of course, it will also work just running the program and typing in the binary, but that is a less quick and easy for some quick checking.

When you comment more than your code...!
So would you say that my commenting in bin2txt is good then? Bit manipulation is exactly why I made such ridiculously long comments that the code without them is much smaller. I didn't know bit manipulation that well as the time, so wanted a really detailed explanation of what those parts were doing. I decided I may as well explain detailed reasoning for the rest as well.
What are some alternatives?
