Is there any way to prevent alt+enter from putting Steam into Big Picture Mode?
reddit.com/r/Steam | 2021-10-15
There is a tool called https://www.autohotkey.com/ that allows you to rebind any keys or shortcuts as you want. You can use that tool to disable this shortcut globally or just when Steam window is active. To do the latter use the following code for you AutoHotkey script: #IfWinActive, ahk_exe steam.exe !Enter::return The first line ensures the rebind works only when steam.exe is the active window and the second line rebinds Alt+Enter to nothing.

Highschool student hacks entire districts IoT network for Rickroll senior prank

Yup, you can still do that. AutoHotkey is a wonderful tool for this. You can intercept input events globally, and transform them or send completely different events to the target app.
For example, I use AutoHotkey to implement my JKLmouse program, which turns certain keyboard events into mouse movement for precise control. It's similar to the MouseKeys that comes with Windows, but made for laptop keyboards without numeric keypads.
And yes, you could definitely do that Minesweeper hack in AutoHotkey! :-)
What's a program you made that you actually use regularly?

Don't have a video unfortunately, but you can download it from here: https://github.com/dkgv/pinpoint/releases (pick the stand-alone release unless you have .NET 5 installed already)reddit.com/r/learnprogramming | 2021-08-28
My friend and I made this: https://github.com/dkgv/pinpoint It's a keystroke launcher capable of quite a few things by now, controlling Spotify, browsing reddit, currency conversion, searching for programs and more. Actually use it almost every day
My friend and I made an open source, extensible keystroke launcher for Windows
reddit.com/r/opensource | 2021-06-02
As the title states we made a keystroke launcher for Windows, sort of an Alfred alternative. It is definitely still a work in progress, but we do have quite a few features at this point such as controlling Spotify, searching the web via DuckDuckGo bangs and a lot more. A full list of features and a download link is available at our repo at https://github.com/dkgv/pinpoint. If you're interested in trying it out or even contributing, please check it out :)
