DELETE THE HIGHLIGHT SEARCH RESULTS ADD-ON
However, I'll keep this suggestion in mind for when I do make the switch. Feel free to follow the progress in these GitHub issues until then: auto-scroll, exclude fields.

Good Ctrl+F add-on?
i find these add-ons super helpful, op… sorry if this post is not formatted correctly, i kinda suck at commenting on reddit lol 01: highlight search results in the browser 02: search bar glutaminate also has this super dope add-on available on patreon called “search everywhere - ctrl+f find.” it’s a lot like the search bar add-on, except it has the two notable added benefits for my use case. benefit 01: highlighting of all hits of the search result, which also appears on the scroll bar benefit 02: searching both contents within fields and field names. this is super helpful if you are working with larger note types. being that the add-on is available on patreon, you should be aware that the add-on comes for a small price. for this reason, the “search bar” add-on is an excellent budget-friendly alternative (free!). here’s the link for the search everywhere - ctrl-f find add-on on patreon p.s. my anki version is 2.1.49 incase you are wondering
