Also try this free tape saturation plugin, it's awesome. You can get the same effects as Unstable, but also much much more! CHOW Tape

Not sure if this is right sub, but what are any good free tape emulators to use for mastering? (Metal song)
There's a couple. For example CHOW Tape Model or SN03 Tape Recorder (the latter being Windows only).

Now that support for importing Ableton/FL Studio projects has been added, LV2 support would truly make Bitwig the DAW to go to when moving to Linux. There are so many great high quality plugins that can effectively replace paid plugins that are LV2 only.
For starters, there’s Guitarix which can easily replace Guitar Rig 6 or TH-U. There’s also B. Oops by the brilliant u/sjaehn which I literally just discovered yesterday to replace Glitch 2 or Effectrix.

What are some alternatives?
diopser - A totally original phase rotation plugin
ADLplug - FM Chip Synthesizer — OPL & OPN — VST/LV2/Standalone
phantom - [BETA] Modern phase distortion synthesizer plugin (targeting VST3 and AU) :musical_keyboard:
lv2vst - experimental LV2 to VST2.x wrapper
ChowMatrix - Matrix delay effect
ardour - Mirror of Ardour Source Code
BiquadLimiter - An audio effect plugin using JUCE
Camomile - An audio plugin with Pure Data embedded that allows to load and to control patches
Dplug - Audio plugin framework. VST2/VST3/AU/AAX/LV2 for Linux/macOS/Windows.
Band-Split-Delay - Band Split Delay plugin which will hopefully be released to the public one day. The aim of this plugin is to offer 3 bands each with their own reverb and delay settings. The inspiration for this came from FL Studio's Patcher, in which I've made this exact thing and it sounds awesome when paired with the right instruments.
Cardinal - Virtual modular synthesizer plugin
aap-lv2 - AAP LV2 support: wrapper, the foundation for LV2 plugin ports to Android. See also aap-core Wiki for the list of ports.
