Adalight-FastLED VS Lightpack

Software and Hardware used: I am using Adalight Fastled (https://github.com/dmadison/Adalight-FastLED) with a WS2812B strip.

Run Adalight with Prismatik.

Use this code instead. Define the LED type, data, and clock pins at the top.

I have uploaded a sketch Adalight-FastLED to an Arduino Mega. The following description is the requirement for my c# app that is using a slightly modified Ardity to send byte[] instead of strings to the Arduino.

another warning: the off the shelf kits come with a relatively low baked-in baudrate (115200, but confirm with your seller), this might limit your LED framerate, read this, so don't set your software to 360-noscope-fps capture right away... so either you are fine with what you'll get and you leave it at that or you want a higher rate, in which case you'll need to flash it with any other arduino ambilight sketch (such as this) with values that work for your board (any arduino ambilight tutorial on the subject will do)

Any reason you decided to "reinvent the wheel" instead of using an existing solution like Prismatic or Hyperion?

I'm using something like this: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256801541807301.html (just an Arduino Nano clone with WS2811 LEDs). And with this software.

as far as I know, 2 method of ws2812 responding to a computer is by sound / audio reactive (WLED& prismatik) and ambient color lighting (prismatik). Other ambient color applications also available with relatively similar (more or less) feature to prismatik.

Looks like Lightpack is the operative software in use here.
