I created a Raspberry Pi Pico based LED Strip Controller with a USB Interface (Source Code in Description)
Any reason you decided to "reinvent the wheel" instead of using an existing solution like Prismatic or Hyperion?

Another LG C2 42" monitor success story (pic only, no story)
I'm using something like this: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256801541807301.html (just an Arduino Nano clone with WS2811 LEDs). And with this software.

Connect LED to games
as far as I know, 2 method of ws2812 responding to a computer is by sound / audio reactive (WLED& prismatik) and ambient color lighting (prismatik). Other ambient color applications also available with relatively similar (more or less) feature to prismatik.
- Ambibox huge frame drop while gaming...

Added some ambientlight to my monitor using an arduino and ws2812B LED's. I love it
Looks like Lightpack is the operative software in use here.
