Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

The aUSD error mint was pure negligence. They do not have any where near enough unit tests.
I don't see any tests for the rewards mechanism in the first place. Stack Overflow took TDD to the extreme, and look at where they're at. That guy is active in Chia, using all of the tools he built for the forums from almost a decade ago, and they all still work. I think Acala even uses his code for their forums.

I wonder what to do with my lcDOT just now…

Polkadot.js Wallet connection
I'm trying to connect Polkadot.js to the acala.network and I'm a bit confused with accounts: I created 1st account for DOT, 2nd for ACA, and 3rd with "Allow use on any chain" - now I can connect my wallet and select any of them with apps.acala.network, but in the drop down with balances I can see only ACA balances. How is it possible to stake DOT?

Introduction to CryptoCounterBot.
The ranking system used by the bot is the same employed by my reddit-comments-crypto-counter script. It leverages the CoinGecko API to gather the top 1,000 cryptos (for now) by market cap, and will scan through tickers as well as names to get the most accurate results possible. To avoid double-counting, each comment can only contribute to one count per crypto.
-
I created a bot that can be summoned, and posts rankings of cryptocoin mentions in Reddit threads! 🔥
The code, of course, is all open-source, so you guys are free to inspect it, contribute, and provide feedback. The GitHub repository is public. At some point in the future I'm thinking of using smart contracts and something like Phala on Polkadot, to possibly run this entire project on the blockchain. Just as a little teaser to what it might expand into.

Solana and Samo getting momentum -any other tokens?
High-jacking this comment to mention that I'm the creator of a script that takes Reddit comments and outputs the top mentions of crypto coins. These were the results:

Which crypto project is undervalued right now (like Solana was back in February when it was $2.5) until its big pump?
Oh, yeah. It's a Python script I wrote a while back that goes through Reddit comment forests, and uses various algorithms to find coin names, exclude common English names, and check their validity with the CoinGecko API. The repository can be found on GitHub and there are instructions included on running it.

What are your top coins to invest in for passive income?
I'm the author of the Reddit Comments Crypto Ticker Counter CLI Tool so I decided to run it over this thread. These were the results:
