A project I submitted to the OpenCV Spatial AI competition last year and won first place for the North America region.

Using cheap off-the-shelf OAK-D depth cameras and Quest 2 headsets, turns your space into a VR laser tag game. Demonstrates a simple way to detect walls and furniture, and synchronize the headset and camera coordinate systems.

It’s a very crude prototype but does work.

I have uploaded the code (a mix of Python and C# with Unity, with a tiny sprinkling of C++) to https://github.com/trzy/MRLaserTag
