Bonus: Check out https://github.com/shajen/rtl-sdr-scanner-cpp I've been experimenting with this and got it to work with the RSP1A it can record everything within it's allowed bandwidth and pull out / label calls... It even uses a small AI feature to differentiate between speech and noise (mileage may very). Good luck on your journey!

Noobie questions
This one SDRScanner works really well, but I'm using the docker version not the source version. The developer said that is too resource hungry for a Pi, I try to compile it, but it was a no go, maybe you are lucky, but for sure it will solve your problem. Good luck.
