Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Arduino's -fpermissive default, and bad code generation.
So I built myself an alarm clock, using a Sparkfun 1602 SerLCD as a display. I created a double-height font for the digits with a class that inherits from Print. And I did all of this with the Arduino IDE installed from a Snap on Ubuntu, so the code was compiled using avr-gcc version 7.

I am aware of it. On Google Play you may encounter money demand, but in F-Droid or GitHub releases you just simply cannot. Note that Alarmio is not still maintained but when I tested it I did not encounter any issues with it, so I acknowledged polished experience rule.
On Google Play it is not but on F-Droid and GitHub it is.

Alarm app with gradual increase of sound?
Then you don't have to lock your phone to disable it. The fact that it hasn't been updated does not bother me. It is just an alarm clock which functions properly at least in my phone. But I can understand if you don't want to use it. In such a case, you can try Alarmio, Clock+, or Simple Alarm Clock.
