Haven't checked the list yet, but just from the rules alone i think that whatever app you have listed there is probably gonna be worth checking out, hopefully the list grows to encompass realistic alternatives to everything you'd need, there's still niches that i don't think are filled yet and would be good if apps started appearing here
On Google Play it is not but on F-Droid and GitHub it is.
Thanks for your work! Your list let me think about replacing some Apps I use with open source alternatives -- pretty time consuming to test them, though (but that's obviously not your fault :D). Probably your list does not need another Barcode scanner, but have you looked at the following? Simple QR It's also available in the Google AppStore: Simple QR
and there also Dolphin emulator, a Wii and GameCube emulator. Here's their github and here's the google play listing, its also on F-Droid
No problem! Well Fritter is more like a NewPipe - you cannot like or comment, just view the content. About Twire I've added this app long time ago and it worked like a charm. However I've added a new app for Twitch - Xtra. Check it out!
Exactly! Or GitHub releases.
That's an awesome list. Thank you! I like to know why you included Phonograph instead of Vinyl. Vinyl removes IAP from the app.
I've recently found Squircle IDE, but I have not tested it fully yet.
NewPipe is my most used app with VLC. Recently LibreTube has appeared and kinda exploded, maybe check this app too?
There also RetroArch an open source emulator on numerous platforms, that can emulate numerous consoles and here's their github and here's the google play listing
and theirs also the Wikipedia app which is open source. Here's the GitHub page, [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.wikipedia](and here's the google play listing)
For authentication apps: andOTP is a good one
You're right, but still I decided to put it on the list, because it might help with discord tracking. I have not seen any Discord Alternative on Android unfortunately.
What stands out compared to hmm for example this?
Thank you for lots of resources! However to be honest with you - I know a little about emulators so if you would like to help me please do so on GitHub with maybe pull requests. I was even struggling with testing Lemuroid.
