[Review Request] Raspberry Pi Pico based Keyboard/Controller
My main concern is power. The rp2040+ supports simultaneous charging and use, but I also want to make sure I don't accidentally leak power back up the cable (especially to the gamecube, since this could break it). I followed the circuit diagram for the usb c breakout, but since I am using a battery pack I have some concerns. There is also the rp2040+ schematic available online.

i am new and old
if you're playing on console it's a different story, you'd have to either get a prebuilt that works on the gamecube or use something like pico-rectangle.

Discussion: Normalization of Maximum Cardinal Inputs (1.0 vs 0.9875)
It's easy enough to write your own firmware for a box controller, the software is already out there on Github. So it's not enough even if all of Hitbox, Hax, Goomy, Greg Turbo, and Panda are all on board.
What are some alternatives?
captouch_joystick - USB Joystick Device with Capacitive Touch Inputs using Raspberry Pi Pico and Arduino
Arduino-SNES-controller-on-GameCube - Modify a SNES (or similar) controller to work on GameCube using a compatible Arduino board.
Pico-DMX - A library for inputting and outputting the DMX512-A lighting control protocol from a Raspberry Pi Pico
picotetris - Tetris on a Raspberry Pi Pico mounted on a Pimoroni Pico Explorer
stepmania - Advanced rhythm game for Windows, Linux and OS X. Designed for both home and arcade use.
Marlin - Marlin is an optimized firmware for RepRap 3D printers based on the Arduino platform. Many commercial 3D printers come with Marlin installed. Check with your vendor if you need source code for your specific machine.
pico-micropython-examples - Examples to accompany the "Raspberry Pi Pico Python SDK" book.
osu-octave - Open-Source, Usable Osu! Client. Tailored and Adjusted for the Vita and Embedded
pico_stepper - Stepper Library for RP2040/Pico
yocto-8 - A (WIP) PICO-8 cartridge runner for the Raspberry Pi Pico
