I used my https://github.com/007revad/Synology_HDD_db script to add them to DSM's compatible drive database and allow creating NVMe storage pool.

It is connected in a usb-c port on a Thinkpad T480s. I found a post online from someone having this issue on Ubuntu. I tried adding the udev file rules for Realtek adapters mentionned in his post without success.
Using this function and, if you have a few nodes with "ArozOS" installed, you can easily add all nodes into the Zoraxy WoL table and kick start them one by one remotely.
DSM won't let you create a storage pool on drives in a PCIe adapter card so for the NVMe drives in the E10M20-T1 I used my https://github.com/007revad/Synology_M2_volume script to create the storage pool.

There are a few dockers that seem to be able to do what you want. I could make my Synology think the HDDs are SSDs but then I really wouldn't trust it deduplicating my data. I've had deduplication working on my DS1821+ on an NVMe volume.
I do plan on updating Synology_Plex_Backup soon to bring it up to date with my other Plex backup script, Asustor_Plex_Backup, that has a separate config file and a restore script to make it easier to restore from a backup.
I made a slideshow app that fetches photos from Synology NAS (more specifically from Synology Photos album): https://github.com/Caleb9/syno-photo-frame. The intended target platform for this is Raspberry Pi connected to a screen, to function as a DIY digital photo frame, but it can run perfectly fine on other hardware too.
